The 1st Eviction - Where It All Began

In many places in the  country, Justin Case has some extra space to lurk. They are some of his most favorite playgrounds. These are called basements and attics.

A little background:
About 2007 or so, my sister and her husband bought our family farm in Stanton, NJ from my parents. The basement, in particular, was completely full from my grandparents house, which was cleaned out when they passed on. Therefore, almost 35 years of accumulated stuff had to go. Where, you ask? To the garage of my parents house, "down the shore" in Brick, NJ. A place we like to call the Pocher Palace on the Bay.

Justin languished in style in his new digs, while the car was forced to endure the sweltering sun and hair curling humidity in the summer and frigid temperatures, ice and road salt in the winter.

Enough is enough! We brought in the big guns... my brother, Rich

and Justin's mortal enemy... A DUMPSTER!!!!

G-ma and G-pa took the kiddies off to Chuck E Cheese's (where a kid can be a kid) and we got to work.

We were ruthless - but it HAD to go!
Dang, we filled that sucker up! Boxes of vases from long wilted, FTD flowers, mismatched china, baskets galore, broken chairs, old bicycles, trailer hitches from long gone cars and more rope than you would need to rig an old time sailing ship. Even the leaky old row boat was tossed.

2 days and some happy dumpster divers later we were done. We realized we had a talent for...

Evicting Justin Case
